Senior Director of Revenue Management, Consulting & Property Support
In this newly created role within our clients Corporate Revenue Management & Distribution organization, the Senior Director, Revenue Management (RM) Consulting & Property Support will provide corporate level support for our clients’ properties, consulting with and educating properties on RM best practices, systems and tools. The Senior Director, RM Consulting & Property Support will manage a team of Revenue Managers providing guidance to hotels on pricing, forecasting, optimization and use of rate management and RM systems.
ORGANIZATION
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead Revenue Managers in proactively assisting properties in identifying, maximizing and measuring impact of revenue opportunities based on forecast accuracy, revenue opportunity model, and other methods of opportunity identification.
- Provide guidance on pricing, forecasting, optimization and use of rate management and RM systems
- Participate in annual & quarterly revenue planning process for properties
- Proactively identify revenue opportunities and trouble-shoot revenue issues for groups of properties
- Support rollout of Revenue Management and Distribution initiatives, such as BAR Rates Management
Provide RM expertise and leadership for the development of a comprehensive Revenue Management training and education program, with appropriate testing and certification
- Develop content for and lead training for BAR Rates Management rollout
- Provide subject matter expertise to design and develop RM training programs for franchisees and Our clients staff
- Partner with Franchise Operations to develop certification program
Develop and implement our clients regional and property RM service offerings
- Provide subject matter expertise regarding property level pricing and revenue management processes, organization and technologies
- Partner with franchise services organization to establish critical linkages between property, BPC and revenue manager pricing and RM functions, processes and services
- Evaluate fee-based participation opportunities for hotels that select enhanced levels of revenue management support
Lead the development, generation of and analysis of ongoing reports of key property-level RM metrics (historical and future)
- Provide guidance for ongoing adaptation, refinement and active usage of property-level RM reporting
- Provide subject matter expertise to guide the requirements and development of property RM dashboard
SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience in pricing and Revenue Management at a senior level, ideally with significant lodging company. Minimum 4 years at corporate director of RM level or higher with significant team development and leadership experience.
- Excellent knowledge of property level pricing and revenue management "leading practices", processes, methodologies, current and emerging technologies required.
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and presentation skills required; experienced in interacting with and presenting to executive management
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Strategic Account Manager
Position is responsible for growing relationships and selling our clients products and services to key accounts that are strategically important to the organization. This role will develop and maintain relationships with key contacts within their named account at a high, executive level, as well as senior management levels and sell them on our clients product solutions. They will be required to identify global project opportunities, promote and leverage the successes globally within accounts and work with the client’s global organization to insure ongoing, effective communication of contacts, relationships and project opportunities. This position will be responsible for all revenue from targeted accounts including license revenue, customer support and professional services. Director of Revenue Management (Dallas)
Position Summary:
The Director, RMCC-Americas position reports directly to the Senior Director of our Client. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the Assistant Directors, Revenue Managers and Analysts in their work group, and to teach, train and mentor all aspects of Revenue Management and team leadership.
Each Director is responsible for the on-boarding process of any new hotel that enters their work group as well as maintaining oversight of the on-going relationship between each hotel and Revenue Manager or Assistant Director in their work group.
The position also functions as the RDRM for the franchised hotels in their work group; the position has oversight responsibility in the analysis of revenue management efforts for these hotels.
Responsibilities include communication of Client's Revenue Management standards to the hotel's and Client's team members, auditing for correct application of these standards, training, and measurement of hotel revenue performance against established goals and forecasts.
The position will recommend and coordinate revenue management strategies for all franchised hotels within the Director's work group and supply critical analysis on company-wide decisions effecting pricing, occupancy, revenue goals and product line sales strategies.
