Apical’s Sales Team Augmentation Initiative (STA)
Sales Team Augmentation changes the playing field related to how companies sell their products and manage their sales Team. Apical will enable companies to focus on their larger, major accounts and use STA to augment their current and future sales initiatives. STA will be formed into teams, focused on the client’s solutions. Each team will include 1 mentor, a strong industry specific sales manager, along with 3 commission only sales people. All mentor’s and sales people will be fully vetted by both Apical and the client to ensure the perfect fit. Sales associates will be assigned specifically to a single client for the term of the contract and will not be moved in to, or from, a direct market competitor.
The structure is fairly simple yet addresses an immediate need. Apical will be able to parachute in a highly qualified team, get them trained and selling the clients products within a very short time frame. Apical STA teams will be contractors and as such, the clients will not have to bear the brunt of benefits, tracking, follow-up and mentoring. This is all up to Apical. The upside for the client is substantial.
Apical’s STA may also be used to attack markets whether they be geographic or focused on certain customer segments such as properties with less than 75 rooms or smaller F&B establishments which cannot sustain a salaried sales person and/or can help a non-North American based company expand into this market without incurring the cost of establishing and managing a sales presence remotely. The STA initiative will reduce the opportunity cost of these types of sales and thus ensure that companies garner the best possible margins.
Apical will also enable companies to convert the most promising sales people to their own employees if required to do so after an initial term is met. By doing this, Apical can provide a strong and mutually beneficial relationship between our clients and our STA teams.

• Sales Strategy Consulting Services • Results Verification • Match Product Solutions to Targets • Verification of Product Demonstrations • Payment of up-front fees to Sales Team (Mentor and Sales Professionals for draw period of 3 Months) • Training Validation • Internal Sales Training • Sales Guidance to all Sales Teams though Mentors • Monitoring of sales goals and objectives • Cross marketing initiatives • Sales Team Performance Reviews • Monthly Client Status Reviews
Client Responsibilities
• Product Training • Sales Force Automation Training • Travel and Expenses for training and customer acquisition • Commission Payments to Sales Team • Strong marketing and sales support • Business specific documentation for Sales Team
All Apical Sales Team’s are contractors and as such, benefits, 401K plans, RRSP’s etc are not the responsibility of the Client.
The Client also has the capability of bringing in any number of salespeople from the Sales Team Augmentation group after the initial 1-year term at no cost.
